Mushroom compost is an effective soil conditioner full of nutrients and organic matter.
Compost is a great aid to help break up clay soils, adding nutrients to sandy, fast-draining areas whilst adding organic matter back into your garden.
It is important to dig the compost through the soil in your garden or your raised garden beds before planting. A good guide would be to dig a 50mm layer of compost through the soil.
